Split Rome Honed

Honed Rome travertine in a split rectangular format, sheet-mounted in a basketweave arrangement. The pieces sit in a pale cream to warm beige with the natural flecking and pitting travertine carries and the split face gives each piece a slightly open surface. On a bathroom mosaic wall tile the basketweave arrangement in split travertine gives more surface detail than a larger travertine tile. On a bathroom floor the close-packed format produces a textured, neutral surface in a warm natural stone palette.
